This I wrote for Mary Katherine
as she moped around over her first boyfriend.
She dreams of love;
Tender looks and constant smiles.
She dreams of laughter,
Sweet caress and lover's wiles.
These moonlight kisses
Are essence of love, not desire.
She and her dreams are young
Yet unlit by nature's fire.
